How many of us can say we’ve exhibited our artwork in a gallery? Well, here’s your chance! Brooklyn’s Art House Co-op brings us “The Sketchbook Project 2011 Tour”, an amazing collaborative art project that ANYONE can be a part of. The basics: order your sketchbook from their site, create your masterpiece on it, send it back, and then it goes on tour being exhibited in museums and galleries across the country. Once the tour is over, all sketchbooks will be entered into the permanent collection of The Brooklyn Art Library. You still have until 10/31 to get your sketchbook so get a move on! Her and her family make a variety of delectable desserts, their shop is in the heart of Old Town Pasadena, and they’re just darn cool people…what more can you ask for? Our favorites are the Apple Tarte Tatin, Red Velvet Cupcake, Strawberry Cupcake and Lemon Tea Cake, but you can’t go wrong with anything they have to offer.
