Hello loyal readers!  We have been taking a little break from The Plum Daily, but rest assured, we have been working our bums off!  Plum Denim Shop is excited to be participating in a fabulous event called “Make A Mark – Tween Empowerment Event” which takes places on 10/10/09 at the Pasadena Convention Center. Make a Mark strives to educate tweens between the ages of 9-14 about body image and self-esteem and help mothers build positive relationships with their daughters.  In addition to being a sponsor, we will be hosting a hip fashion show debuting the latest trends and styles while DJ Orbit spins some groovy tunes!  Other fun activities planned include: workshops on skin care, nutrition & active lifestyles, arts & crafts, sewing, panel discussions and an exciting motivational speaker.  PLUS swag bags for all the attendees!  This event is well worth the $20 ticket price, however, we’ve got some free passes for the first 10 readers who email hello@plumdenim.com!!
