Halloween Harvest Festival

This popular Halloween festival features a spooky corn field maze, lots of children’s activities and rides, “creatures of the corn haunted trail”, farm animals, hay rides and much more. For those looking for something more extreme, the festival takes on a more sinister persona after dark as FrightFair Scream Park comes to life.

Spider Pavilion
Where: Natural History Museum (Los Angeles)

Welcome the return of The Spider Pavilion, the first public spider-viewing center of its kind in the country. You’ll be able to get up close to these fascinating creatures – dispelling the myths and common fears that often surround them. On Oct. 30, the museum will stay open til 9pm when the Spider Pavilion will transform into an outdoor theater for a Halloween-themed movie. Children are encouraged to come in their best halloween costume and go trick-or-treating in the Museum galleries.

Kidspace Pumpkin Festival
Where: Kidspace Children’s Museum (Pasadena)

Haunted Hollywood Scavenger Hunt

Did you know that Los Angeles is the #7 most haunted city in the U.S.? Discover the ghosts of Hollywood Blvd. as you team up to uncover the haunting secrets of Hollywood. No prior ghost hunting knowledge is required to solve the challenging clues, but a flashlight and comfortable shoes are helpful. For kids over 13, there is also a Haunted Hollywood Scavenger Hunt that takes place at night.

Pumpkin Roundup

Enchanted Green Hallow’s Eve
Where: STAR ECO Station (Culver City)

STAR ECO Station, an exotic wildlife rescue center presents an Eco Green Halloween Extravaganza entitled “Fairytales of Eco Fun and Fantasy”. The STAR ECO Station will transform into a magical fairytale palace of trickery, treating and eco storytelling! You’ll wade in the magic and wonder of “Alice and Water-land”, discover buried treasures in the mysterious waters of “Pirates of Oceania”, learn the advantages of eco friendly-fueled vehicles in the forest fairytale of “Little Red Riding Hood” and much more!

Haunted Garden
Where: Fullerton Arboretum (Fullerton)
Dates: Oct. 24 & 25, first tour starts at 6:30pm
Admission: $10 for teens & adults, $6 for children 12 & under (tour may be inappropriate for children under 5). Afternoon Children’s Party for kids 3-6 is $6 per child.
The 5th annual Haunted Garden at the Fullerton Arboretum features a walking tour of the garden which has been transformed into a spooky cemetery filled with bats, vampires, ghouls and witches At the end of the tour, you’ll be treated to a “Haunter’s Ball” with lots of Halloween treats. For children 3-6 years old, the Haunted Garden will host an afternoon children’s party with a costume parade, pumpkin patch tours, games & snacks for only $6 per child. Prepaid admission and reservations are highly encouraged as space is limited.
